We support a monastery of monks with a shedra (traditional Tibetan university for Buddhist studies), a nunnery, the project Happy End that assists elderly nuns and monks, and Shenpen, a social project initiated by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche who heads our supported monasteries. Rinpoche is a high dignitary of the Karma-Kagyu and Nyingma lineages and spiritual teacher widely recognised around the globe.

Without donations Tibetan monasteries in exile wouldn’t be able to survive or give a high quality level of education to the monks and nuns. The monthly donation of 30.- EUR enables the financing of studies for one child or respectively monk or nun.

If you want to take on a sponsorship you can decide which one of the projects you would like to donate to. Every donation, whether it be a general sponsorship, monthly, yearly or one off donation is greatly appreciated.

Once a year sponsors receive a letter with news about the monasteries and different projects being undertaken. This comes together with a donation receipt.

Sponsors are cordially invited to visit the monasteries and say hello to the person they have sponsored.
